I was able to photograph our Fall Contest 1st Place Winners last weekend. This family is so cute and their little girl reminded me of my little one! Baby boy was such a trooper without his bottle and they all did so great! Below is Mark's contest entry email to me:

I had the chance to photograph cute little RYKER again this week! He is such a handsome little guy... I love learning new things about these babies each time I see them! :) He SURE likes his bouncy seat and LOVES his mama!! Thanks for letting me come out, Andy!

MiLiTaRy PoRtRaIt PaRtY!!!

I recently held a photography contest through my Facebook Fan Page and received an entry from a young woman. She had entered her sister into the contest because her brother-in-law has been deployed to serve in the war. The following is her email to me:

When the contest was over, I had SO many great entries and couldn't decide between them all. So I chose the winner out of a hat. This entry was not the one I drew from the hat, but I was so impressed and knew I HAD to do something with it!




SO.....



For the men and women who serve our great country and keep us safe... I am announcing my plans to throw a MILITARY FAMILY PORTRAIT PARTY! This event will be held October 23rd at Layton Commons Park from 2-6pm. Time will be limited, so PLEASE RSVP if you plan to attend and get your portraits taken. I will give you an "appointment" time to ensure that we fit everyone into our available time.






Portrait sessions are FREE for all those who bring their Active Duty and Retired Military IDs! No purchase necessary! Refreshments and drinks will be provided for those who attend! Exclusive discounts on portrait packages will be available from these sessions. My hope is that the portraits from these sessions will be sent to those who are deployed so they may see their loved ones!

For all portrait packages that are pre-paid at the party, guests will receive an additional Portrait Sheet FREE!! (Details will be posted at the party...)

Mirror Images is hosting a September Portrait Party in the BEAUTIFUL Ogden Valley! With it's fall landscape and country feel, it's the perfect place for family and individual portraits!

Guests must register and schedule a mini-session appointment time with Jessica. Due to time limitations, these appointments are limited! So call or email soon to guarantee your spot! Appointments will be every 20 minutes from 4-7pm on Saturday, September 25th.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. For every registration fee paid, you will receive your choice of a small portrait package or a disc with 5 high resolution edited images. Additional portraits and packages may be ordered through webhosting. Pre-paid portraits and packages will receive a 10% discount!

I am happy to announce my 1st and 2nd place winners in the Mirror Images Photography Fall Contest! Everyone who entered this contest submitted some really amazing stories and backgrounds! It really did make deciding so hard! SO...enter the hat! I drew two lucky names out of a hat and was VERY pleased at who they were.

My 1st place winner was actually submitted by her husband! I could tell by reading his email how much he loves and adores his wife! I was so glad he responded to my contest email! Jen wins a FREE Portrait Session and FREE Portrait Package. Her portrait package includes: 8-wallets, 4-5x7s, & 2-8x10s.

The 2nd place winner is a woman I have been talking to about getting her family's pictures taken this fall anyway! I was glad to see her name come up in my inbox because I didn't know much about Trish and her family! When I read her story, I was blown away at how humble and strong she is about the trials her family has faced recently! She is receiving 50% off her session fee and 50% off her entire print order!

After their photoshoots, I will post their emails to me along with some of the images we get!
