Each week, we will open a new item/package to give away. This package will be up for grabs all week long from 10:00am Monday until 11:59pm on Saturday. To enter to win, you must become a fan of all businesses involved in the giveaway on Facebook and then SHARE the giveaway on your own Facebook Wall! Sorry, but this giveaway is only open to U.S. residents.

UWPG February Meetup!!

We had a very small, but very fun group meetup this weekend! It was just Terra Cooper of Magnifique Photography and myself... we met in Ogden for our February Photography Group Meetup. It was such a nice day, we decided to take a trip to one of MY favorite locations! It's a great spot in the spring and summer, but I just learned how BEAUTIFUL it can be in the winter, too!! For those brave enough to attempt an outdoor winter shoot, this is the place!!

Poor Terra got covered in snow while trying to get a shot of me through the trees!! Her flash knocked into a branch and all the snow came down on top of her!! We quickly got out of the snow and dried all her equipment and her hair!!

Thanks, Terra! I had fun and learned a few things... you inspired me to challenge myself with something that has been REALLY frustrating for me! I'm not quite there yet, but I plan to be soon!! Thanks for the practice... hope you enjoy your pics!!

With all the excitement coming up...I thought I had better get this announced! I have had these mini sessions on my mind for a while now, and I am VERY excited! I love photographing seniors. They have such fun and creative ideas for their portraits.

February Mini Sessions!

I was sad to announce that the February mini sessions would be the last until at least summer for us! Building a house will take up so much of our time and we already have so many great events planned throughout the spring that another mini session day will just have to wait. :(

Anyway, I love mini sessions because they bring me so many different types of people for so many different reasons! Whether it was to celebrate the loss of 100 lbs, to document a baby's growth, for new business cards, or to break into show business!

February's mini sessions were certainly DIVERSE!! Each of these young ladies were so beautiful, and I had fun photographing each of them. The following images are my favorites from that day...

The date is set to reveal our WEBSITE!! Stay tuned because February 28th is when we go live!! This is so exciting and we can't wait to show off all of our hard work! We plan to celebrate with a weeklong of GIVEAWAYS!! We have teamed up with other businesses for a daily giveaway that will run from February 28th to March 5th! Mary Taylor of Taylored View Photography setup this meeting in Salt Lake City this past weekend. The 2nd Annual Senior Photo Shoot...

This was such a fun group of kids....and can we say PHOTOGENIC!?! My goodness! Just look at them; they are simply amazing! They made my job so easy! I had a great time with everything and so glad I met you all! You truly are such wonderful people...

We had a fun time hanging out with these two little guys. We don't get to see them much because of 2 hour drive that separates us, but this was definitely worth the drive! After our mini photo shoot, we had dinner and went to the Cupcake Cafe! Yum!
